Best to get discounts first then switch to sero....
Should keep this in the sero thread though.

I signed up for sero straight up without getting my employer discount (20% first). I didn't want to take the chance of not getting sero at all, which is much better than a regular plan with a 20% discount. Now what should I do to have the 20% added on?

I wrote to ecare requesting any "promotional plans or complementary SMS". Check out the lame response I got:
"Thank you for writing back to us with the requested information.
I am sorry that currently we do not offer any free text messaging
options. So, this option cannot be added on the account.
Thank you for contacting us. Have a great day"
She didn't even try to sell me any. I might go ahead and plunk down the $5 for 300 SMS.

My mother's SERO has free 7pm, free 500 texts and 21% business discount. Was a new Sprint customer from Verizon therefore had no discounts before the others were added after SERO started. She also got the PM225 free.

I need the N&W at 6PM free. I had to pay for the 300 SMS @ 5 bucks. :bang:

E-mail eCare and ask for it. I sent a very politely worded e-mail requesting my corporate discount and they added it without any problem. They requested my supervisor's name & phone number (which they never called) and my full business address, but other than that it was simple & painless.
My thinking was the same as yours... SERO alone is better than my corp. discount alone so I went for that first. Having my corp. discount is just icing on the cake!

How resently did you get your corporate discount added to sero? What catigory did you list it under when emailing ecare? Oh and what is your % off if you dont mind me asking? When I asked them they just said it was not possible with sero and gave me 15% special discount instead. I would have got 24%. Thanks for your info.

I got unlimited Sprint to home recently (free). I have Sero with 7PM and already had Sprint long distance (no monthy fee and 7 cents a minute over the first 50 free minutes). I love Sprint!

Thank you. Sadly, I pay for that. Otherwise, I do okay. How do i ask for free TEP when I'm already paying for it? Hmmm...

Wouldn't bother.
I don't have TEP myself. I think the phones degrade too fast to justify the expense of TEP.
Maybe if I had a treo or pda type phone, yes, but mine was free, has a 1 year manufacturers warrenty and costs the same to replace as insurance would charge.

no one should be getting an additional discount with SERO as it is already a huge discount in itself.
