I purchased some songs from the Music Store and when I went in the Player to access my music every song that I downloaded was gone. Called Sprint and an hour later the response was that they would give me credit for the songs that they had in the system as being downloaded($30 worth) and I was basically out of luck as they claimed there was no way to retrieve the songs. Actually the rep was very, very, very nice and helpful and she even called me back. She told me she would research some more (as she was trying to get to Advanced Tech support but they did not answer) and call me tomorrow. She gave me a $30 credit which I could use to download the songs over again or wait until she called me back tomorrow.....Well lo and behold my phone rings 10 minutes after I hang up with her and it is the rep calling me back to say that she was able to talk to Advanced tech and they basically said I was out of luck as I stated at the beginning....I just wanted to say that I was very impressed with the rep as she followed through on what she promised as I checked my account and the credit was there and she called me back like she said she would. I know most of us on this site have had horror stories with the reps lying to you just to get you off the phone and not applying credit like they said or just not being helpful at all but this rep was very very good. I am upset about my songs and was wondering has this happened to anyone else??

This did happen to me, until I realised that the problem was that the songs that I downloaded were on the old 32 mb transflash card that came with the phone, I had downloaded the songs b4 replacing that with the 1 gb. And after copying the music folder from the old transflash to the new transflash, they magically appeared again. The music store puts the songs on the transflash card, which I was not aware of at the time. So if you have changed transflash cards since downloading the songs this could be your problem as well.

No that was not the issue. I have not switched out my transflash card nor have I switched out my phone for another one. I don't know where the songs went. They were there on Wed and Thurs they were gone.

Well...
This has never happened to me
It sucks that it happened to you
However, I am very glad to hear you got such a nice, helpful rep
I am also happy you got a credit so you can re-download your music
And lastly, thank you for sharing :D
