I've searched here and found a few old threads about this, but nothing recent.
When I try sending a text I get Sending Failed and it says Ack Time Out. I also don't think I'm receiving them.
I'm in the Chicago area. Anyone else having this problem?
...This is the 2nd day I've noticed the problem...the first time was a few days ago.

Sprint over the past couple of days have been doing things which in turn have been effecting text messaging. Sometimes its dropped texts, sometimes its getting the same text 3 times in a row (I as of now haven't heard of anyone complain of not being able to send). Give them some time and it should be getting fixed.

I even tried to set my phone to Roaming Only and I still have problems. I figured if I was using someone else's network I might be able to get around the error, but that doesn't seem to work either.

Lately I've had to retry retry retry when sending a text and then My friends complain because I've sent it 3 times, lol, so I think it's a network issue

I started having the same problem, I live in chicago !
Girlfriend has verizon and she called me last night and said she couldnt send me texts either. I just happened to get a new phone from Sprint yesterday and thought it was the phone, glad I read this thread...... I will see if the problem clears up soon.

Mine has been acting up all morning so far. Every time I send a text i either get error codes 107 or 003. When I re-send them they go threw find though. Calling customer care right now. :headbang2

OK, well I just got off the phone with customer care. They had me remove my battery for 2 min. then put it back in the phone. Works like a charm now!!!

All day yesterday my texts were failing. Having the A900 it's very frustrating because you have to go through a bunch of commands just to get back to the message to resend it; my previous phone (Sanyo VI-2300) would automatically resend the messages in the outbox so I wouldn't have to. I do more texting than talking on the phone so it's real cumbersome for me doing this all day. I haven't done any today because I don't wanna deal with it. I hope everything is good now...

I just got my Fusic two days ago, and have never used SMS until now, and noticed this. I just called up sprint tech support and they said it was a known issue nationwide and their engineers are working on fixing it. Glad it wasn't just my new phone, but it does suck. The lady I spoke with said there was no estimated time that they'd have it fixed.
