As a standard rule now we dont have to honour an offer once you hang up. So in short if it sounds too good to be true. Take the offer then and dont call back because if its a rich offer then next person doesnt have to get it. Or there supervisor isnt willign to credit. And its not a legally binding offer. Offer is only good with that Rep

So what you are saying is that I should have taken my deal last night then. LOL

Will the account be notated with the last offer? Will any other rep absolutely not go back to the offer or can you see if you can get it back? Or do you basically have to start again from scratch? Would it be wise to wait awhile before callling back?

Just trying to get a feel of what can or can't happen.

Oh, last question, sorry for the list they just all hit me at once, does it matter at what point you are in your contract? i.e. middle of the contract, couple of months left or out of contract

Thanks.

If the agent noted it itll still be there but next guy doesnt have to honour it

Being out of contract give you alot of leverage

If it is not a legally binding offer (the Agent on behalf of Sprint) then wouldn't that mean that no offer, whether accepted by the Customer or not, is valid?

And if the Agent isn't able to offer a legally binding offer, then that means that the Customer can renig on their agreement about renewing for the new Contract Term then too? After all, there is nothing is writing that the Customer signed and if the Agent's word is no good about the offer, whether taped or not, then why is the Customer's agreement to a new term valid?

Seems like an interesting application of Contract Law.

Any students care to take this up?

Were referring to the initial offer. If you dont take it someone doesnt have to honour it. Now if you accept said offer thats legal but if you want to think it over you could lose it. So go back and reread what was discussed I was warning you people if you dont take an offer it might not be there when you call back.

If you want to further agrue what I was warning people about write a letter and mail it to yourself because I dont care I am helping you get the best for your buck

Being out of contract does give you a llot to leverage with them, because you can cancel at anytime. I would really emphasize that. And if you call back and talk to someone else, let them know that all you have to do is cancel the service that they should honor what you were supposivly offered last.

Unfortunately right now, I'm about 4 months away from having the "power". Don't know if I'll wait that long to upgrade phones.

I agree and to add I've never had any trouble getting what was promised to me before and usually improving on it. I never get in a hurry when it comes to bargaining with Sprint. There's no reason to hurry, take your time and weigh the different offers if you're shopping around.

Or for that matter, considering what is the best deal you can get from Sprint, time is on your side. Come back here and compare to what people are getting and run it past the gang in here. ;)
