Wirelessly posted (Treo 650: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows 98; PalmSource/hspr-H102; Blazer/4.0) 16;320x320)

I sold the first one at our store. We had 6 blue and 6 black.

The blue and Pink look pretty good. The black uses a flat black finish. The blue is a real slick looking royal blue color. The Pink is kind of metallic. I haven't seen the white but expect it to be metallic like as well.

People are paying $279.99 plus tax? Wow, that's just insane for a thin 8200. There's an Ebay dude selling them for $229 or best off with $14 shipping.

The keypad LEDs arent green, it has a QVGA screen, looks NOTHING like the 8200, the earpiece sounds way different (better) it supports OTA updating, it has bluetooth, supports wireless backup...da** must I go on? To be honest, oh nevermind I wont even go there

Funny, that's actually all I really want in a phone these days-- a slim 8200 with QVGA and Bluetooth. Anything this phone is missing I either stopped using years ago (camera, mp3) or will never use anyway (evdo, ready-link, multimedia) .

Now if I could find the cheapest way to get it w/o waiting for my 2 years contract to end in January.

Im talking mid-entry level features. We all know its thin, QVGA screen and bluetooth. All of us phone junkies no better then to downgrade to one of these. I can understand for the life of me why someone would go from a PV phone with a mega pixel camera to something like this and pay $300 (with tax). That's just nuts.

The short answer - it's new, thin is still in, and it's a Sanyo.

When I want/need EVDO I have my 6700. The Katana is a great answer for those of us that want a PHONE. I willed my a900 to the other half so I can complain to HIM for a change about the call dropping
