I have researched so much on the phone we were told we were going to get... Our package came today and we received the A920's instead of the A900's :indiff: .... Please tell me this phone is a good one. :p

If anyone has any good tips on this phone I would love to hear.. I know nothing about this one! :dazed: :eyebrow:

I have the a920

I think it's better. Not as thin, but all around I think it's a better phone.

Right On... I sure hope so! One thing so far I have noticed is that the sound is so loud, my phone I was using was so old and quiet.. This is exciting as stupid as that might sound, lol!

My old one was quite too. My friends all say "WOW you can really hear that ringer, I wish mine was that loud."

This is the only phone I think that has stereo speakers on it.

It does SO much....I'm still finding things out on it.

I was orginally offered the a900's. A rep told me the 920 is a better phone. She said it feels more solid than the 900 (I agree) and even if it's not "thin", the 900 has a lot more quirks about it.

The only thing I haven't bought for it yet is a case. I can't decide if I want the plastic hard case, leather case, vinyl color skins, or snap on faceplate. :)

This post should be in the Samsung forum though...

Dunno. I read an article about the a920 and it said it was the first one to offer stereo speakers....but who knows. These companies crank out phones so fast.

oh, first, yes probably. i think it launched before the 940. but it wasnt the only one with stereo speakers.

A920 is louder than the Nextel phones, and it has good quality sound at that... I myself find the A920 better (well, more of a relief than better), but I do miss using my A900, I'll be putting it on a business line when I get aproved.

I've had the A920, A940 and now the A900.. They're all stereo, and good phones. I think the A920 has better battery life. The A940 has a more "WOW" factor with the twisty thingy and motion sensors, and the A900 has the "Wow" with the thinness. I like the A900 for me, as I keep it in my pocket, so I don't look like batman with my pager, cell and Treo.
