Should I pick up the PPC-6700 phone up for $250? That is what retention said they will give it to me at, or the Treo700 for $300. Are both of them a good deal?
My A900 is has too many issues and I have already gone through 3. Everything from faulty battery covers, to hinges getting stuck, and able to see the phones internals because of the phone not being built well. I swear, I have the worst of luck.
Thanks in advance!

cheaper by only 50$. how old is the ppc6700 btw?
they already placed an order for the new a900 but i told them to note my account for this price. they said this offer is good for 14days.
i am just afraid that the ppc6700 or the treo will be bulky cuz i don't really carry around a suitcase nor a bag...hmmm

Based on my recent experiences (and others that have posted in these forums) those prices are typical for good customers. If you are a excellent customer you may be able to get even better, it depends on getting the "right" rep and how much time you're willing to spend bargaining with Sprint. Being very polite and firm will help you with Sprint. :)

I agree with Wayne...it all depends on what type of customer you are, which rep you get and also what you say. That seems like a good deal but then I've seen others get better. I'd jump on it though if I were you. Never know when you're going to get another good deal again.

Brisk,
I've been trying to get below the $300 price point for a 6700 with no luck. Been a Sprint customer for 10 years and been through about 9 reps. As others have said, take the phone and run.

I would take the 700p way better device , the 6700 is nice , but ever since they updated windows mobile and tinkered w/ Active Sync I've encountered nothing but problems( The 700 is just 650 w/EVDO, Sprint TV and of course all the bugs of Versa Mail and Etc... worked out ) Anyway thats my opinion!

I did the 6700 on the 14 day trial. I returned it on day 10. The 6700 was bulky, the battery was terrible and is was horrible as a phone. I can't say anything about the 700p since I never had one. I would stick to a phone since the PDA's do the phone part last.

if you use the BT on the 6700, the sound quality will improve when making calls. I havent used the 700 but I heard its not that different than the 650, so i would still pick the 6700. Plus thats a pretty good price
