I guess I should have been more specific. I lurked a bit here and on page 6 or seven of the forum I found a thread that had the 800 number of retention. I just did what lots of people here have spoken about having done and having had worked for them. I went into the conversation armed with this knowledge. 1 what the current plans being offered were and the associated price. 2 what the phones I wanted were and their associated price. 3 What features I wanted and the typical price of those features. 4. What I was willing to pay for the above mentioned items. This was quite easy. I simply told the retentions person the deals being offered at cingular, vmobile, nextel, etc and that I was unhappy with my plan and that I was seriously considering a change. I held out after his initial offer, asked for something rediculous i.e both A900's for nothing, and got the free roaming, 10$ vision and the two phones for 79$ total.
Thanks to the great posts on this forum, and a little common sense it was easy.
