keep my plan that i love, esp if i decide to cancel my second line. I am happy to upgrade or add to the plan, but i don't want to change the style of plan, b/c that will negate my 150 extra minute rider that i was given to me.

my current line is
Free and Clear $40/500 mins, +the 150 rider.

I want to add another line so that i can get the sexy new LG 550 fusic for as cheap as possible, and also the lowest or cheapest 2nd line add on.

any ideas? i've called the reps, they are not understanding or i'm not understanding. either way, help me out. thanks.

Also, how are the people on ebay able to give the phone for $0.99 w/ activation? they give the $150 sprint off, and then another $170, how are they able to do that? would you recommend going this way?

Sign up for a second line on wirefly or tell Sprint you want to know if they will match an online offer.

Yes you do have to sign a 2yr agreement in order to get the $150 off. Also, I have a total of 10 active lines currently with sprint, All of my secondary lines are @ a $0 a month add-a-line charge. When you go into the store to add it, just ask the rep to add it as a "$0 add-a-line" charge. I've never had a problem with that. all I do is ask and they do it without a problem or further questioning.

that would be awesome. In which case i could give it a shot to get a new line, and for them to match the price which would give me the fusic for free. that would be ideal.

When I was signing up for my contract a year ago I was told I could add a line for $9.99 and share the minutes. They said if I used a phone I already had I wouldn't have to sign a contract for that line. I called a second time and they affirmed. Now, I want to start using the extra phone I have and Sprint says I have to have a contract. I could live with a year but I don't want this add'l phone to have a year left after our plan is up. Any ideas?
