How long for BlackBerry service to work?

I activated my new 7130 and signed up for the BB plan about 4 hours ago. Voice service was working within 10 minutes of activation. Anyone got an ETA for me or is it a crapshoot?

Did you set up your BIS account yet?

Sorta, I created the account and everything, but nothing works...can't send service books or anything since I cannot connect to the internet. So yes it is set up, but no it doesn't do me any good.

When I first got my BB I played with it for about 4 or 5 hours then I turned it off and went to bed. The next morning BB services were up and running when I turned it on.

Computer. I can't set anything up from my phone...it won't connect.

Still nothing this morning...but my SMS plan is now gone from my plan details on the website. What a nightmare. Time to call *2...I hope I am not on hold for 50 minutes like I was yesterday, lol.

Well, called back and discovered that the Blackberry plan was never added and my texts were taken away. Sprint simply sucks sometimes! Well, now everything should be there so hopefully I will be good to go here pretty soon.

You can always try Options-Network-Start Provisioning to try to provision your BB. Then you can send the Service Books to the phone. That worked for me but I feel your pain. It was several days before I got EVDO access even though everything else was working.
