I didn't want to ask this in a different thread as it is really off-topic.
It has been my understanding that SU Members call the retention department up and get a plan that includes many services at no charge...Specifically the powervision bundles. Can you have a retention representative code powervision on your plan while you continue to use a standard 1x Vision handset? My plan would be to switch over to a powervision handset to utilize the benefits of the service a couple months down the road. Is this possible?!? I always wait for the rebates to upgrade my phone, but I'm just looking at the options of not purchasing a new phone until after January 2007.
I'm thinking down the line when my contract expires I will talk to the retention department. I'm out of my Sprint contract at the end of October. I'm just looking for the best way to configure a new plan and eventually upgrade my handsets.
By the way, does anyone know the tentative date for the first EV-DO Rev. A compatible handset to be released?
Thanks All! :)
