I am negotiating with retensions right now to replace 3 phones I have with current lines. I also want to add a new line and have a 6700 on it. Retensions said they cannot do anything for me with a new line. The said I could get a 6700 on one of my exisitiing lines for $300.00 I am pretty satisfied with the offer for the phones on 3 lines, but not satisfied with replacing one with a 6700 for $300.00

Has anyone negotited this before. Also, does anyone know a good deal on a 6700 I can reference. I mentioned the sprintnetwork guy, but since he is still sprint it did not get them too worried.

Thanks,

go to ebay, search for sprintnetworks and with a new line you can get one from him for < $150

I also got the 6700 for free from retention. I was out of contract on one of my lines so I went to my local Sprint store to inquire about upgrading to the 6700. The rep/manager told me that they reserve the 6700 for only new customers. Bunch of bull. Came home and called retention and told them about my experience and the nice ret rep offered the 6700 for free. BTW, the manager from the store will get a letter from Sprint ret dept about my experiece at the store, so I was told. At first, retention wanted to do a return kit of my old phone (A800) in order to get it for free. I told them there was nothing wrong with the A800 and that I wanted that as my backup. After talking to them for a couple more minutes, they agreed to let me keep the A800 as well. This ret rep was the coolest. I think her name was Stephanie.

Yeah, I was out of contract for about 4 months.
