Alright, folks! I finally called retentions and I was impressed with the friendly service. So far, I was able to get 2 free phones (A900 & A920; free shipping; free activiation), free roaming, and free nights & weekends @ 6pm.

Now the only thing I would like are the anytime minutes, because I will be adding on another $9.99 line or possibly two. Currently, I have 500 minutes.

The retentions rep didn't offer any block of minutes for cheap, and I didn't ask. I just mentioned that the biggest reason we want to go to CIngular is for the "roll over" minutes. I'm looking for 1500 - 2000 minutes with a $59.99 price tag.

How should I ask for this? How realistic is this?

I mean, right now I am paying about $73.00 a month after taxes and discounts. I want to keep this same bill payment or make it less.

Is there anything else I should ask for that would help me reach or go beyond my goal? Like, loyalty discount, credit union discount, sprint to home option, free accessories, etc.

My basic goal was:

free bluetooth phones
1000-2000 anytime minutes
6pm N/W
keep or lower current bill payment of $73.00

So, I have achieved 2 out of 4. Any coaching tips on how to achieve the last two?
The retentions rep will be calling me back later on. I hope to close the deal.

Also, I appreciate everyone's help! I've only been doing this research for a few days, and I have received so much good information and advice from so many at this forum. THANK YOU!

Jim :)

If retentions offers up those things for free, don't ask for a loyalty discount or anything else. It's better that it shows you are willing to give up one perk for another.

Retentions will work with you. If you tell them the type of plan and price you want to pay, they will more than likely make it happen.
