Ok, I've been reading all of these posts on SERO and other tricks for getting a better plan. I've tried cs via *2 and ecare and business line a few times for each. I get the can't do anything you have a contract, you can't keep your number, yadda yadda. I've been a sprint customer since 2002 and am 6 months into a new two year contract.
Does anyone think that retention would be able to get me a better price on a plan.
Right now my plan is :
750 Anytime Minutes

Unlimited Night & Weekend Minutes
Nights: M-Th 8PM-7AM Wknd: F 8PM-M 7AM
Minutes Are Shared On This Plan
All Minutes Include Long Distance
Caller ID, Call Waiting
Three-way Calling
Voicemail
Additional Anytime Minutes $.40 Per Min.
Your Current Plan
Option Price (if applicable)
Click to learn more, modify or remove services.
READY LINK $10.00
NIGHTS STARTING AT 7PM $5.00
PCS Add-a-phone
$20.00 Monthly Service Charge
Caller ID, Call Waiting
Three-way Calling
Voicemail
READY LINK FOR SHARED LINES $5.00
VISION ACCESS PACK FOR SHARED LINE $5.00
It comes out to about $85 before fee's and taxes.

Any advice or ideas on how to manage getting a better plan or do you think I have the best I can seeing as how I've got another 18 months on the contract?

Thanks :fingers:

Ok here's the deal I've gotten.
The plan itself has a discount I didn't know about. Ecare gave me a 5% discount and I got another 10% per line rebate due to the flyer.
I removed ready link since I hardly ever use it and called Retention and got 2 a900 phones for 80 bucks (I don't think that's too bad since I was 6 months in to a two year contract).
Plan was messed up as you can see so I emailed ecare asking for a credit or free nw at 6pm because nw was only on one line of my plan and so was vision. Well in lue of giving me free nights and weekends at 6 they credited my account $117. I thought that was nice.
I plan on calling retentions back when I get the phones to activate them since I bought them from that department. I may mention the messed up vision I have on my plan and see if I can get something else but I wonder if I've pushed the envelope enough for a few days.

Where do you work for, there is a list of companies that give discounts just for being an employee there. http://www.sprintusers.com/forum/showthread.php?t=104408&page=5&pp=15

Try retentions/ecare first, then once they give you whatever, ask for the company discount if your company qualifies for it. The discount is easy to get, while retentions is a bit tougher once you have a discount. People have pushed the envelope much more, but if your happy, then I wouldnt push it.
