So I am on the phone with a rep as I type. I really did call in to cancel my account...T Mobile offers the BB plan for less and some other things. So of course they start with the offers...I turn them down a few times until what they say makes sense and I decide it would be more of a hassle to switch. I was offered a 20% discount, free nights and weekends at 7pm and free unlimited text messages for 2 years. As they tried to put the codes on the account they keep getting an error code.

They transfer me to Power Vision Tech Support...error code
They transfer me to BB tech Support...no error code...no discount code
They transfer me to Retentions...error code...
They transfer me to Business Accounts...disconnected in process
Call back in for Business Accounts...error code because of SERO
Transfer me to Business Retentions to cancel

After being switched around to 6 different reps, disconnected once and on hold for an hour they determine that the error code they keep getting is because of the SERO plan that is on my account. The rep told me that NOTHING ELSE could be added to the account becasue I had that plan. Which may be the reason people keep getting the no's from E Care. Anyway in that case I tell the rep that I again want to cancel so he asks what is it exactly that you were trying to do, I said it should be in the notes I apologize but I have talked to so many people it would probably be easier to read it.

Rep - "I see they were going to give you nights and weekends at 7pm at no charge but I can't add anything on. I can give it to you for $5.00 we really can't budge on our blackberry plans.

Me - No why would I do that and I can just go to T Mobile and get the plan cheaper.

Rep - Ok all I can do is give you the nights and weekend for 7pm free would you like to do that?

Me- So all the other things the other dept offered are null and void?

Rep - What other things?

Me - It should be in the notes as well.

Rep - All I see is the free nights and weekends...

Me - So you don't see the Free text messaging and the 20% disount

Rep- Nope don't see it at all

Me- Wow that's funny all the other departments have read it to be verbatim

Rep - Oh now I found it

All I could do was laugh at him out loud. Why lie about it...at any rate I got all of the above :deal: so anyone that tells you you can't get the SERO w/ BB plan...wrong...you can't get the PAM with the SERO plan...wrong...You can't get an additional discount with the SERO plan...wrong again...you can't get a discount on the BB plan WRONG...

We'll see what happens when I get the bill though. I'll keep you posted.

How were they able to attach PAM to your SERO? See if they will give you the code. No one had been able to have any luck with those 2 together.

Wow nice plan...its funny how you had to get your plan. But at the same time its a hassle to stay on the phone for that long. Nice job in getting what you wanted...hope it sticks and they didnt mess up on anything!! :)

As far as I know the BB plan was on the account before the SERO was added. I will do my best to call and see if they will give me the codes. Kinda scared to even ask though.

Hmm... would seem that is a common factor. Get your stuff first, then switch to sero.

Cool if you get the code, if not, no big deal. My friend has sero and wants to add PAM but I told him no one could get it to work.

Maybe tell the rep you have a friend who tried to add PAM and the rep they talked to couldn't get it to work. You are calling to see if your rep can give you the code so your friend can give it to the rep when they call back.

cant understand why sprint would refuse to take your PAM money on top of the SERO account. It would actually make the line more profitable IMO!

Can't understand it either.

I know several people who have tried to add PAM and the rep said the system wouldn't "take" it.

It's probably because the unlimited internet/data access is included. I think Sprint would rather you pay for PAM and the unlimited data access package instead.

Oh I know what it is...they keep saying that it is because you can't have the unlimited PV with the BB/PAM. I am calling now will post when I have the answer. BRB hopefully
