From a day a few weeks ago when no SMS would work, to the ever-so-often recurring "get every text you receive 2 times...or more!" drama. Today I am gettin dupes of every text sent to me.
Wonder why this happens so often...and why I have never experienced it with Cingular, VZW, or TMo?

I received a duplicated text from another sprint phone but only once from sprint text alerts.

I've been getting dupes quite often lately. Every so often texts won't send either. Hope this is all taken care of soon, it's getting very old.

I keep getting the late late text.
i.e. was having a conversation 2-4 hours earlier then all of a sudden a response pops up like 'I know that's right' which I have no idea what it applies to so I have to text back saying 'what' and then wait 2-4 more hours to find out what we were originally talking about in the first place.

It is definitely weird, because some days when Sprint people I know in other parts of the country are getting all the duplicates, I have normal service. Then there are days like yesterday when I get tons of dupes and other Sprint people seem to have normal days.
I have no explantion for it at all.

Not sure if it's a regional thing. I don't know where Sprint routes their messages through. But I'm in AZ.

I get sms that have a time stamp 3 minutes ahead...
for example, it 1:30...and i get an sms with a time stamp of 1:33

lets see if someone can figure my problem out or not, i got my phone activated in ohio so i have a ohio number, i moved to indiana and i still have the ohio number, when i get texts when im in indiana the time stamp on the texts are always a hour behind the actual time so say i get a text at 3:00pm it says 2:00pm but if im in ohio or any other state i get one at 3:00pm the time stamp will say 3:00pm its only in indiana that it reads different, any ideas why it does this?

yeah it happens alot really i have tmo and sprint i when i text sprint ppl with tmo i always get double text from them very rarely they get double form me

same here .... im from the west coast! and i get like 3 or 4 copies of the same text from my girlfriend. i keep telling her to stop, but she says she's not even doin it. we even had an argument about it and now i feel like a dumbass cuz its happening to alot of people too.

I'll get my horoscope and weather 3,4,5 times a day! Some of the text messages I am sending to other people aren't even getting there or posting hours, hours, after I sent them. I talked to Sprint and they claim it is an issue that is affected by the weather. Its all sunny where I am and where the txt are being sent to. Funny, the weather in DC was horrible this weekend and my firends there got my txt, but my friends across town in Minneapolis still haven't gotten their message, over 24 hours.
I think if txting ins't working right, sprint should give it to all unlimited for free!

I am not getting all my texts. I have a 700p and I thought it was the phone. Last week, my friend told me she left me a voicemail and was annoyed I didn't respond. I call my voicemail and I have four new messages and not once did the envelope icon pop up. Right after that, i got a flood of all of these texts from previous days that I never got! Yesterday was my birthday and people were pissed I didn't respond to their texts, but I never got them! I was texting back and forth to my friend, and I didn't recieve one of the messages she sent me.
I'm in Manhattan/Jersey City, so it's happening out here. At this rate, I'm going to lose some friends~!
