Hey all,

I have the $15 ower Vision Access Pack. The Sprint website says that it includes ABC News Now streaming live news channel and SIRIUS Hits. Now, when I go to Media Player, and CHANNELS, i notice that some channels are color coded in purple and under MY CHANNELS. And other channels are green and under AVAILABLE CHANNELS. By reading the info on these channels, it seems that the ones under my channels are free or at least part of my plan; and the ones under AVAILABLE channels are ones i have to purchase since they mention a price. Is this the correct assumption?

Also, If i go to On Demand, and put in my ZipCode, will I be charged? Or is that stuff included? I can't find a clear explanation anywhere.... Hopefully this thread hels others as well....

Thanks,

Matt!

The OnDemand service is free, except for the directory and the maps. Hope this helps.

Looks like maps might be free now - when I click on it there's no trial offer listed w/ a price...

On the other hand, I clicked the fyi box and according to that it's not... it says to go to http://www.handmark.com/od/od_home_help.htm for more info and that info is

INTRODUCTION
On Demand provides fast wireless access to news, weather, sports, stocks, and movies. This information is available when you want it, how you want it and is with you at all times on your Sprint device.
SUBSCRIPTION INFORMATION
Basic Channels
There are five basic channels included with your service: News, Sports, Weather, Money, and Movies. These channels are included at no additional charge as part of your Power Vision data plan. Casual data charges will occur without a data plan.
Premium Channels
Additional premium channels are provided with a free trial period. The trial begins when you choose to launch that channel and request to start the trial. After the trial period has expired, these channels are available on a monthly subscription basis. Subscribing can be completed from the Purchase menu upon launch of each channel.
If you wish to unsubscribe from a premium channel, select the Cancel License menu item from within that channel. Your license will expire at the end of your current subscription period.
GETTING STARTED
The first time On Demand is launched you are prompted to enter your Home ZIP Code. Using the ZIP Code entered, default settings will automatically be created within the basic channels: a 7-day weather forecast is created in the Weather channel; the Sports channel will add up to five teams for each sport; the Movies channel will add up to four theaters to the Theaters list; and the Money channel will include the ticker related information for the DJIA, S&P 500, and Sprint’s trading stock.
When an asterisk (‘*’) appears on the title bar of the Home page, this is an indicator that there are unread messages in the Extras channel. You may select the Extras icon on the Home page, or press the * key on the device, to read about the latest product message or features available. After the message(s) have been read, the asterisk will no longer display on the title bar of the Home page.

I have a Samsung A900 and when I go to my listings, I see yellow folder icons. Are these my free channels?

I'm a PV noob.
