2 Part Question
- The SERO site specifically states unlimitted instant messaging and names MSN, AOL... i imaging YAHOO also. However, my A-900 does not have any of these apps on it and when I go to msging they want to charge the 2.99 a month. Am I missing something, they can not honestly expect that statement to mean WAP messageing?

- Also, having retired my BlackBerry (sigh@#$%^&*) 7520 with always on email and yahoo messenger I am really missing the always on feature. Do the yahoo messenger and mail apps run in the background and provide notification when msg received or are there any apps that can make my a-900 do that? I am lost without being logged into messenger all the time and not getting email updates. I know I could use SMS but that is kinda useless because it is only a notification and doesnt really give u a preview.

I think i may be expecting too much out of the a-900 as I also used my GPS all the time on 7520 and thought the a-900 would actually have some sort of working GPS

1. Yes, they honestly mean WAP messaging.

2. Yes, the Yahoo! and AOL Instant Messenger applications do run in the background and provide notifications (SMS) when a message is received.

3. Regarding GPS... you shoulda read our forum first ;) Then you would've known the A900's GPS is poo.

Wirelessly posted (Samsung-SPHA900 AU-MIC-A900/2.0 MMP/2.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1)

garmin 3.0.3 works ok on my A900. not as good as my i860 nextel phone. of course it is half the size.
