for your a900 or a PDA phone? if it's for your a900, you posted in the wrong section
if it's for your pda phone, it depends on which one you are talking about and what kinda program you have

I use PhoneAlarm (Lite version) (http://www.pocketmax.net/phoneAlarm.htm) which has this ability (and many others).

yeah, you could do that too..
Just get a converter program and change 'em up and then copy them over to \Windows\Ringers
Try to keep them short and loud.
I use Sony's SoundForge, but that is overkill for this task. Just look for .mp3 to .wav convert, maybe even Win Media player?

o one last question i can't seem to find the /windows/ringers file
so, using activsync "explore" navigate to \Windows. but, make sure under your Desktop PC settings (Tools--> Folder Options --> View --> show hidden filles or folders) is checked.
or just copy them to you mini SD card and copy them to the \windows\ringers that way.
