we live in Murrieta California and we are having reception problems, i was told I can reconfigure my phones to get better signal they are Samsung A660 and A680. Thanks

I don't know what you can reconfigure to get better reception. If you have a roaming included plan you can set your phones on to automatic (it will search for the best signal and use it) or analog only (using only other providers analog networks). Other than that I don't think there is much you can do.

I'm not sure about the A680, but the Samsung A660 doesn't get that good of reception. It would probably be beneficial to update your phones to a newer model...All the phones in Sanyo's line up are good for reception.

thanks, we do have free roaming but I don't trust them to not bill us for it. We have had a lot of billing and service issues since the merger. We are considering another carrier.

There is no special trick to make your service better. the only thing you can do is allow your phone to roam or to do a software/firmware upgrade

I believe on the phones that you have you would have to bring them into the nearest Sprint Store...However, you may already have the latest firmware.
