View Full Version : I am getting grumpy!

I got a Samsung A920 Phone, and was psyched to get Sprint TV. I checked online, and I saw the Vision packs. There was the Access, Plus and the Ultimate pack. I looked through the offerings, and based on the fact that the Ultimate pack offered the most options and the coolest channels (like Discovery, TLC, Animal Planet and Fox News), I selected the Ultimate pack for $25 a month.

After a few days, I realized that the only real *channels* that I was getting were Fox News, ABC News Now, and Fashion TV (what the heck is that?!?!). :irked: But then there is a link in my phone to get Sprint TV Live for $10 a month!!!! So now I am stuck with eight crappy 90-second clips from the Discovery Channel, a few 2-minute clips of standup comedy, five 4-minute cartoons, and some other crappy clips. No TLC or Animal Planet at all. :irked:

I saw a thread where a guy was trying to decide (when selecting from his phone, not the website) which is better - Sprint TV Live or Ultimate. He said that Live was $10 a month (like my phone says), but then he could get Ultimate for $8 a month. He said for $2 a month he was going to get Live. How can I get Live for $2 a month more than what I am paying??? I cant roll back all the way to the Access pack and then add Live, right? So I need to have the $20 Power Pack first? Help!!!

Unless you are not a football fan I can see why you left the NFL Network out, other than that it makes it all worth it to me, but yea if your focus is more live channels then the Sprint TV live is the way to go for you.

oh yeah - the NFL Channel! :)

Ok I couldnt take it anymore... something was going to get broken, and I didnt want it to be my new A920 phone! lol So I wrote to eCare and told them about it. I said I thought it was faulty advertising, and that I should have had those channels. I said I was dissapointed and felt that I should get those channels since it said the plan came with the channels, not just *clips* from those channels.

They got back to me and said:
-------------------------------------------------
Currently the few channels which we are providing free, offers a 90 seconds clip. I also take this opportunity to assert that the feedback
and suggestion from our customers are very important to us. Sprint uses
the opinions of its customers to better the services.

Let me assure you that, I have forwarded your precious feedback to the
appropriate department so that they may take further action.

Currently you are paying $25.00 for the sprint Power Vision Ultimate
Pack. Considering your association with us, I have made a special change
to your account. I have made this pack for $15.00 for you.

:headbang2
Yippee!! Now I can get the Spint TV Live as well, and have it all for the $25 charge that I was paying for just the Ultimate. And it's part of my agreement now! :deal:

While Sprint sometimes messes up my bill, and occasionally gets me a bit angry, they keep impressing me with their willingness to do what they can for the customer... all you have to do is let them know that you are unhappy. :music:

All you need to do is downgrade from the $25 Ultimate Pack to the $15 Access Pack and then add the $10 Sprint TV live add on...it is MUCH better than what you have now...just tell Sprint you were mislead about the number of live channels included in Ultimate...

What additional live channels come with the Sprint TV live service that ultimate doesn't have?
