I thought it included one sprint tv channel and one sirius channel, but I can't figure it out. Thanks!

okay, does anyone know why it's playing in slow motion? The sirius hits 1 is playing like half the speed and after a minute or so, it starts skipping. My EVDO signal is on the highest.

You should have ABC news if you page down to the news section in the media channel section...I also have Sirius Hits...both work really well...If it is not a short term issue, call Sprint, because you should have both of those channels working with no issues...

i called today, they said none of the channels are available on the $15 plan, besides the two sirius stations and the 4 preview channels. She said it's not like cable tv and I have to subscribe to each and every channel in order to access them..***...is that true?

All you REALLY get when you pay sprint for data services is the privilege to pay them more money for the actual content. You'll have to find your free content elsewhere.

Reps rarely know what channels come with what from my experience with them.

You at first said you have the $15 plan which only comes with ABC and sirius.
The one you just stated above is the $20 plan.

Do you have the $15 Access plan or the $20 Plus plan???? That makes a difference.... also, the Plus plan includes picture mail. Access doesn't.

The $15 includes some preview channela , ABC news and 1 sirius channel. My prob is that the sirius channel plays music too slowly, sounds like all the songs are sung by a blues guy, but the abc channel is perfect.

One question: does the $15 package include textmessaging ans picture mail or not?

No.

Text messaging is a different line item entirely. Currently I've seen pricing for 500 and Unlimited Text messages.

Picture Mail is somehow included when you get PV Plus. At least that's the the Reps told me.

Still a bt confused about that.

okay, they fixed the problem. They had the wrong vision plan on my account, which didn't have the Plus pack enabled or something. The slow sirius radio issue is a bulk problem across a lot of people, so now that I know, I'm not too worried right now.

Text messages are not included I was told. If you don't have a text plan they are 0.10 each way send and receive.

I have a discounted power vision plan that isn't quite any of the standard three they offer. We were under the old vision plan and I really wanted to upgrade to the EVDO speeds so they offered us this plan:

First line = $10
Second line = $5

That includes unlimited internet access and data but you do not get the regular TV channels except for Sirius hits(which has 1 station) and ABC News Now. It also has a few channels that are basically previews of stuff. Also includes picture mail but does not include video mail.
Now if I scroll down to the "available channels" and browse them it says for an additional amount of money I can upgrade to the Sprint TV Plus and get the few channels more for another $4.95 per line (but then why not just get the regular $15 plan to begin with right?) or the Ultimate channel line up for an additional $7.95(sounds like the better way to go to save money)

Also with this plan you can add Unlimited text messaging:

First line = $5
Second line = $2.50

I ended up getting this plan somehow through technical support so I don't know if it is offered through customer care or retentions. Was told even if you upgrade the channels this way the only things you will not get are the video mail or the live streaming vidoe news.

So far I think it's not too bad a deal since we are paying about the same amount as our old vision plan.
