Once i get my phone, i want to get in on some of these perks. I have Revol in my area, wonder if Sprint will match their perks?
Should this only be done through retentions? Some say don't use e-care, but i hear others tried them and it worked.

This should be in the general catagory.
Anywho... It depends on what they are offering, how long you've been with Sprint, if you are in a contract, how much your plan is, etc.
Hope that helps.

They offer unlimted local, long distance, and text, for a monthly fee and no contract. I plan on using this along with some other tactics, within the 14 days.

Sprint will not match MetroPCS.
Metro has a limited coverage area as well as a shaky network.
I was orginally going to switch over to metroPCS, but the fact that sometimes I'm in some of their areas they don't cover, kept me from doing so.... and Sprint gave me a great plan and phones, so I stayed.

Its a bit tougher getting perks when you only have had your phone for 2 weeks, since your not a loyal customer yet, but its still possible. At least you are not under contract, so they may offer you some stuff to get you to stay, but dont expect anything huge. Where do you work for, you may get a discount based on where you work. Here is the list. http://www.sprintusers.com/forum/showthread.php?t=87522. If you can get a business discount, dont call in to get it until after youve gotten your perks, since it can be tougher to get some free stuff once you have a business discount.

My mistake...I thought Revol was part of Metro PCS.
At any rate, they will not offer any plans similar to these compainies. MetroPCS, Revol, Cricket, etc are all limited to a small area. This is why they can offer what they do.
The plans are a great idea for a home phone instead of a landline. Since the coverage is limited, it's not a good wireless option unless you don't travel outside their coverage area.

Sprint might match the perks, but not the plan !! at least not the unlimited local and long distance for cheap.

Sprint may match offers like t-mobile runs for $9.99 for unlimited texting for families........... but id not expect them to match an offer for free services like a "cricket" type company offers. If you want a free unlimited plan and dont want to spend $200/month to get it, you wont find it at sprint.

Don't go with Revol.
Pluses
1 Unlimited local and long distance
2 Cheap
Negatives
1 Down-right crap phones (Kyocera's and a basic cRAZR) which you pay full price for and will be broke in less than a year.
2 Extremely limited coverage.
3 Virtulally non-existant customer service. (According to several unfortunate souls i know with Revol "service")

You should be able to get unlimited text through ecare. As for the plan, the only chance you have is to get sero. You signed an agreement for a plan and they are much less likely to change your plan. Add ons however are a different story. i just helped my girlfriend get unlimited text on both her lines and she hasnt had the phones for more than a month.

Yes, these budget companies are very popular. Around here, the folks on it are either deadbeats from other carriers who don't pay their bills, or people with bad credit who are tired of prepaid cars.
The phones are really pricey, but the plans from these compaines is what attracts them.

Oh i just wanted the perks in the first place, like free text, and 6pm nights to match their unlimted local and long distance.
But now i might not even get SERO since it has been a week since i was approved, never got an email though, and has now went back to the review approve stage.
