Hi all,
NOob here.
GF and I are gonna get our first treo650s. We both use palm pdas currently - tungsten c for me , E2 for her.
what's the simplest way to transfer our info from palms to 650's? will there be software that we get that we can use to transfer our info? Or do we have to sit and beam everything? (please no....)
also, assuming we get our info from our pda's into the 650's, we then dont really have the need to sync our old phone info to our 650's right? (assuming our phone info = pda info)
thanks for any help.

assuming you sync with an address book app of some sort (like say, Address Book) or a calendar app (like say, iCal) then just sync the new treo with your computer O_o

This is what I did when I changed Palm PDAs.
Sync the old PDA one last time
Go into the Palm directory and copy the folder that has the name of your HotSync ID.
Uninstall Palm Desktop and any related apps (i.e. Intellisync)
Delete the folder if it's still there
Install Palm Desktop off the CD of the new Treo
Sync it with the new computer
Install apps from the old PDA a few at a time to make sure that they don't make anything weird happen with the Treo.
It always helps to make sure you have the latest versions of those programs as well.
