does phone technician serve the same purpose as ringo pro? or would ringo pro be a little better? i figure i'd ask since you guys have probably used both or at least used one of them to give me some kinda advice
i have searched and found nothing really. so anything is appreciated

I believe Ringo Pro actually lets you assign Mp3's to multiple users (e.g. personalized ringers for contacts) whereas Phone Technician it just a general ringer/sms manager.
Having said that, I used and prefer Phone Technician as it did a lot more (has volume booster built in) and was more stable (the developer is very active in the community). Of course, the fact I didn't really desire personalized ringers for contacts played a big part in my deicsion and will probably yours too.

yeah. that's really what i was looking for. i have volumecare, so i don't really use the one thats on phone technician

and to add to what Mala said - the developer for PT even admits that Ringo Pro is worth the money - he'll never try to dup that in PT. Apparently it is very tricky to pick the correct ring tone based on the phone number - and do it quickly!

lol, yeah I remember that in a thread over at MyTreo.net where people kept bugging him for that feature and he like "noooo way!" go buy Ringo. :lol:

yep - he's pretty cool though - and responsive. I had a problem and he fixed it quick. I have both PT and Butler. Great programs.
