Have any of you guys heard of using your phone like normal then pushing the standby or power on button but after a while it never wakes up ...it wont do anything...it wont light up or anything. Checked memory,battery,etc. But if you soft reset it comes back and works fine for a while.

the dreaded DSOD (dark screen of death). A terrible bug.
Luckily, there are things you can do that should drastically eliminate or reduce this irritating nusance:
