Ok, so my phone was in my pocket yesterday while i went shopping at the mall. I used it a few times while there and stuffed it right back in my pocket. When I get home I take it out and go to put it on the cradle and i notice some applications are up already. No matter what button i press, it seems to be going crazy. Well, I figured it out. You know the 4 directional buttons at the bottom, the down one is depressed. the other 3 make a click noise when i push them, the bottom one does not. And whatever is on the screen, it continuously scrolls down. So, my question is, is this an easy fix, do i just keep messing with it, or what. My phone is everything and I would hate to lose it over what seems to be a stuck button. Thanks in advance.

have you tried just messing with the button.. like trying to jam something in the crease and pop it up.... if you are worried that you may break the phone then just take it to a store tech..i know that the wait can be frustrating but it's better then buying a new phone.... that and you can call the store ahead and make an appointment.

This sound like another thread that was on here a couple of days ago. They guy had a broken stick on his PPC-6700. They quoted him $39 to fix it and instead of fixing it just gave him a new 6700.
Take it to the store. You might be suprised.

brought to store. quoted $35 to fix but was told to opt for replacement for $55. a new-refurb for $55 is what they r doing for me. if they didnt have a 6600, the guy said he would give me a brand new 6700. since they did have a 6600, should i try a dif store to see if they are out of the 6600 and get a 6700?

You can give it a shot. The only phone that they can replace it with would be the 6600, 6700 or Treo 700w. If you get lucky enough you may find one that doesn't have any 6600's.
