there isn't any need for it.

The Missing Sync is really expensive, but it's also quite good. seriously, download it and give it a shot.

I got the Missing Sync- it is great, but it creates phantom additions to my contacts. I set for computer contacts to overwrite the phone and it still adds mysterious empty slots for certain contacts- particularly people with many contact numbers. For instance- it added a blank work entry for a contact that already had a work number listed. I didn't realize this at first and then looked on my Mac and saw that many of my contacts had double entries- work numbers were listed twice etc..

weird.

Hey- where are the the gurus??? come on folks!!

buy backup software, uninstaller software and an SD card pronto. Get a retractable S&C cable too. Read alot here and here (http://www.treocentral.com) (the later has a lot of "must read threads"). TEST software before you buy. And only load ONE program at a time. Rinse and repeat.

To expand upon what Bubba just said:

1- Go to Treocentral.com
2- Go to Treocentral.com
3- Go to Treocentral.com
4- You get the point
5- KB LightsOff. Program that lets you turn the keyboard lights off. Great way to save power.

ok, I was trying not to be so obvious! Another - mytreo.net is a good source for software - free and otherwise and a lot of the top developers are in the forum there. However, they tend to be behind on the technical (and rumor!) forefront and the forum is ruled by a couple of iron-fisted types.

I cant imagine why anyone needs missing synch. I had it for a couple of samsung smartphones and mac a couple fo years ago and it was bug ridden and a mess. support sucked.

ok maybe it has improved but why would you use it instead of of just setting the conduits to entrourage? it works great it took me about 5 minutes to set it up with my wifes mac with her 700p. the treo 700 p works fine synching to the mac wihtoutthe overpriced missing synch -- and you do not need to use the desktop palm software to fully integrate and easily synch the 700p and entorurage on a mac.
