I can't speak to the others, but Yahoo won't work unless you pay the annual fee for pop forwarding. It's $19.99/yr. Once you've got that, the incoming is pop-dot-mail-dot-yahoo-dot-com and the outgoing server is smtp-dot-mail-dot-yahoo-dot-com.

Just checked the VersaMail setup for my Treo 650 and Yahoo is listed as a mail service. I'm planning to switch my email to Yahoo or MSN (I have to switch my DSL provider and my new provider has a choice of either Yahoo or MSN). MSN is not listed so I was leaning towards Yahoo.

dg12: go with gmail instead of yahoo or hotmail. you get tons more space, better design, and they don't charge extra to use IMAP or POP3

yeah I'd say Gmail just because of the free POP/SMTP feature.
