So I was thinking games would be just like other carriers, download and play anytime. I even paid for the whole version, not subscription. But now I findout I cannot play unless I am getting signal, W T H  I am going to call and ask for a credit for this, in no way should that be, I do not get constant signal in my house or in many buildings. Are all the games liek this? Hope I have the right forum, thanks.

maybe it uses vision for some of the game play

It would seem that it is checking if you have a license for the game.... That sounds more like a subscription to me, but I don't have any games on my phone so it's really all a guess on my part anyway :indiff:

you dont have to have a signal to play games unless its run through vision. and tetris isn't one of them.

I can verify that on my 920 it tells me i need signal and it is Tetris, and I did not buy the subscription one.

^ yup... highlight the game... go to settings... and disable access to the net.

this works for most.. but not all game lobby-enabled games.

or you could get fancy and extract the game and remove the game lobby url from the .JAD.

IMO you'd be better off going to a shady cell phone site and downloading the full version of tetris and uploading it to your phone for free anyway.

I rermember a time not too long ago when the games on cell phones were all free.
