9k won't play 3gp files

Fellow SUers...

me and dear scoot (and pzzt), have tried for 2 hours now trying to make a 3gp file on my 9k work.

We've used Xilisoft, and some other 3gp converter.

We've tried an .avi source file, and an mp4 source file.

We've tried diff codecs (Scoot may elaborate on that).


Are we doing something wrong? I've had movies and tv shows on my 1gig card when it first arrived.


it's a 9K, 1gig miniSD (obviously).


Oh mighty SU....assist a man in getting "the jugganaut, beetch!" on my 9k for all day long enjoyment!

pzzt played around with it and got it. me and scoot tried converting the thing and playing with it for hours

I am having problems converting to 3GP from MP4. I convert videos to MP4 using Nero 6 and when i try to convert to 3GP i get a conversion error. This is real annoying because i use to tro trim videos so i can make them into video ringers, but i cant get them to convert into 3GP. Any help would be appreicated

Why are you converting to mp4, and then to 3gp instead of straight to 3gp?
