Looking to buy a 4gb SD card for the 700p. Anybody found a great deal anywhere? Looks like mail order may be the only option. Any suggestions?
Thanks

I just ordered this a few days ago.

it'll come out to ~113 when shipped, and there is a 30 dollar mail-in-rebate that if you hurry up you can get in on (view it on the site, you'd have to hurry w/ it) but yeah. not bad at all for a 4GB 150X card.

Thanks Mac...I was just looking at the same one.
Glad to get confirmations that its a good deal!
You got your 700 yet?

will that work in the 6700 too?

Nope, the 6700 uses Mini-SD cards. Another reason I swapped my 6700 for a 700p!

don't have it yet, I should have it (the Treo) tuesday and then the card wednesday.

A better deal is the ritek ridata card at newegg. It's $10 cheaper, lifetime warranty, and ritek ridata is a very good brand and works great on the 700p.

Merlyn: sure, but no thirty dollar mail-in-rebate :D

yeah, unless you get that FAT32 driver which I THINK works on the 650 (don't hold me to it though).

Yeah, but mail in rebates suck :p

I want instant gratification....plus I think ridata is better than transcend. They've always make the best DVD-R's as well.

Did 700p recognize this card right out of the box OR you had to jump hoops ?

You will need a card reader , hook it up to your desktop or notebook, transfer whatever you want on card , insert card into 700p card slot, voila and yes please do read the 700p user guide. It lists all the basic stuff like this.

Either use a card reader to transfer the data directly from and to your SD card (you may have to first synchronize your Treo with the SD card in it to your computer first) or use the Palm Desktop software to drag & drop files (ie: pictures & MP3) into the external card side of the quick install.
