everything is good there! Magnum (any of the bigger ones frighten me) is the bomb so is the Raptor. You can do most of the stuff in one day but there will be lines, some pretty long so get there early!

Make sure to ride "Top Thrill Dragster!" 120 MPH in 4 seconds!

Not sure if your into nature stuff, but there's an island called Kelleys Island about a half hour way. It has some cool glacial grooves in the rocks from the last ice age. There is also South Bass Island, it has alot of resturants/bars and alot of partying goes on there.

I went the first week in September about 5 years ago and there was no wait to go on any ride. It was sweet for such a theme park! Lines are long in the heat of summer but definitely worth the wait, even better if you have 3 days.

The Millienium Falcon is a fast coaster, I haven't rode the Top Fuel Dragster...it was closed the time I went during the year it opened. I think there may be another new one too but I'm not positive.

Great Wolf Lodge is a really nice waterpark/hotel that you can stay at right outside cedar point. Also as far as advice I guess hope it rains and people won't stand in line, rides are a blast in the rain! In august your going to want to check out the water attractions too because it will be quite warm :)

Thanks! Any decent restaurants around there? We have 4 nights there, but 3 days at the park. I think 2 days at CP and one day at a water park or another park may work, depending on the lines. I think the last full week it's open is the last week in August, I wanted to go in Sept but on their map thing it says theyre only open on weekends and for special events then!! Sucks!

Any hotel suggestions?

I just went to cedar point on memorial day weekend this year (two weeks ago) and i had a blast. Cedar Point is on Ohio 6, but most of the hotels, mall (shopping district) is on Ohio 250 just off of Ohio 2. I can send you some pictures that I took if you PM me your email address. The park wasn't that busy when we were there. Most of the lines had about 30 to 60 min wait time. The Top Thrill Dragster (0 to 120 in 4 secs.) had a 2 hour wait, but it was well worth it. If you have any other questions, I could try to answer them. Just post here or PM me. We stayed at the Comfort Suites on Ohio 250. They are brand new so everything is nice. We stayed three nights (checked in on fri and out on mon) and it only cost us about $260.

Here are two pictures...

So weird - I hadnt checked this post til today but I also booked at Comfort Suites (The Milan Rd ones look nicer than the other ones that were at the maingate)

This is the last week that its open during the week! Iwonder why they close so early..they would be packed all year

Did you go to any nice restaurants? Im guessing "nice" is subjective, but I dont want to end up at a Fridays :)

Be sure to ride the Millenium Force, front seat. The line for the front seat will extend your time in line by like 50%, but it is totally worth it! Remember to keep your hands up!!

A nice pizza place nearby is Pizza Pan (i think that's what it's called).

We're here! ITS INSANE...Dragster was OUT OF CONTROLLLLL -100x what I can comprehend, I think my heart stopped when we first went & my contacts almost flew out. We went in the front for everything... my bf was SCREAMING O SH-T like a little girl, classic.....It was like a drug high lol. Millenium was crazy - front seat was the BEST. It blows every other coaster away hands down.

One more day !!! Going to rent Scary Movie 4 in the hotel room! LOL
