I have the Sanyo 8300 and for some reason I cant get rid of the message icon at the top right of the screen.
The icon has a v in it, I'm guessing that its the voicemail icon. I checked my voicemail and deleted all the messages in there.
Yet the icon is still displayed, any ideas?

Do you have a voice memo recorded?
Fixed, cleared the voicemail count. Duh!

Try calling your cell from your house phone or any other phone and leave a voicemail...then wait till your phone tells you have a voicemail...listen to your message and then delete it but dont hang up until you see the icon go away...that should work if its the problem i think you are having...Nino
