I want to get one of these phones and I have the A800 now, but don't like that much. I am debating between the two or should I just wait for something else to come out? And if I did wait, how long until something else good should come out? Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Fusic is going to be the new toy of the quarter, so if you want to stand out, it is the one for you!

The Fusic has pretty much everything the A920 does and a few extra goodies...as for waiting, there is always something better coming down the pike, that is the nature of technology...if you like a phone that is out now or about to launch, just go for it...you can always sell it and upgrade later...

and don't forget the external music controls on the Fusic if music is one of your big concerns...you can access the Sprint catalog as well as the MiniSD without opening the phone...Fusic also has stereo bluetooth support...not sure about the A920...

but the speakers on the 920 are pretty sweet for a phone

Personally, I would go with the 920 because the Fusic looks like a child's toy. Also, I just generally don't like LG. That's just me, though.

I get my 150 dollar rebate tomorrow and I think I am going to be picking up the A920. I do like the look of the Fusic, but Samsung has always treated me well.

But it is good to see that LG made such a wonderful phone. Hopefully it gets good reception.

I would go with the A920. Samsung is my favorite phone brand. I am not a fan of LG, known a couple people who didn't like their phones because of minor, annoying problems.

I think the A920 looks better too.

Well.... the bugs we have had to endure with the a920 and the a900 (i'm an a920 owner...)

I do indeed love my phone.. but it has a few very menacing bugs..... Well, I can only begin to imagine, that if Samsung slinging all these features was so faulted... exactly what little demons are gonna emerge from the LG.... maybe none.. but i doubt that!!

Yeah, any new phone is going to have bugs. As far as I can tell, they've fixed up a lot of them on the a900, and probably the a920, too. I don't have some of the problems that most people have with their a900s, but I got it a lot later than most of the ones that have problems, so like I said, it seems that Samsung has fixed a lot of the bugs. I'm sure that the LG will have bugs, but they'll fix them up, so that wouldn't be a considering factor for me. I just tend to get used to it. However, I still dislike LGs, and i still think the Fusic looks and sounds like a child's toy, so I wouldn't get it.

You've used the Fusic? How else would you know it sounds like a child's toy? The first batch are getting into people's hands today unless you used a demo model...your review of the phone is in stark contrast to what we've heard from Deval, a rep on these boards that I know and trust...that's the only reason I ask, seeing as how you admittedly dislike LGs to begin with...there are still plenty of issues left with the samsung, including the 20min battery life on the A900 when you use bluetooth...until they come out with a slim battery that can last anywhere near as long as a Sanyo battery, they are useless imo...

Haha, no that's not what I meant. I meant the name sounded like a child's toy. Sorry for not specifying that earlier. No, I haven't used the Fusic, and please don't interpret my opinion as a review of any kind. If I had the money, I would review it just for the heck of it. I wouldn't keep the phone, simply because I don't like the looks, but I would play around with it for a while.

I'm really not sure what everybody complains about as far as battery life goes. My a900 can get 2 days easy, and I've been using Bluetooth and EVDO a lot ever since I got it because I wanted to get music and ringtones and stuff on there. I always forget to turn the Bluetooth off after I'm done using it, so it's pretty much enabled 24/7, and I get a lot more battery life than other people make it seem they get. The only time I've had issues with the battery is when I went to a mall the other day. On the bottom floor, the phone couldn't find a signal, and spent maybe 45-60 minutes looking for one. I didn't realize that this was happening, so I didn't turn the phone off until the battery was down to 1 bar. I expect that kind of battery life when the phone is searching for a signal though. My old phone did the same thing.

must be a special battery...on average, I run at least 5000-6000 minutes a month, and 2-3000 sms messages, and I can promise you 1 thing...the battery barely lasts 1 day...normally 8 hours, and I'm charging while driving home just so it wont die

Well, I can't say I use as many minutes as you. In fact, I use about 1/10th of the minutes you use. Also, I use about 1/10th of the text messages you use. However, for the past week or so since I've had the phone, I've had Bluetooth on almost all the time, and I've used the Internet quite a lot.

Another thing I like about this phone is that it doesn't get hot after running the internet or during a call.

I'm still willing to trade it for a 6700, though, if anyone is interested. :D
