I went through hell with sprint and drove more than an hour to get a 9000. Less than 2-mos from then it has started to buzz in the earpiece on the handset. I feel that sprint should give me a new one over the counter, and believe it or not they thought so too (Glenda did anyway)! But to find one at a sprint store with a 9000 is like getting a ticket to Wonka's. I am upset mad disappointed frustrated etc.

I won't consider another phone. None compare. But this buzz is imosible to deal with. It sounds as if the speaker has failed or is loose. Can a sprint store possibly have a technician who could simply repair it?...I don't believe that.

Can anyone mail me to let me know where a 9000 is at a sprint store. Or give me some other type of useful advice.

Thanks.

I would think many Sanyo earpeices would work fine. The 5600, 7400, etc. should all be the same. They should either swap the earpiece out or have you go through Sanyo for warranty.

the 9000 is a non repairable model. your best bet is to send it to sanyo with your warranty

Alrighty!

I will take the handset to a Sprint store and have them order a replacement handset from Sanyo for warranty. When it arrives I come back in and swap handsets.

Lets see if that is what happens. I sure hope its that easy. "Easy" and "Sprint" never inspires any "positive" outcome in my experience.

I'll keep you posted and thanks for the advice.
