Music on 8300?

I will be joing the Sprint network soon and am interested in this phone. Can you download music to this phone and play? Or do you just download parts of songs for ringtones?

no, you can't download music with it, my recomendation the sanyo 7500 WAY WAY WAY WAY WAY WAY WAY WAY WAY WAY WAY did I say WAY better phone

The 8300 only has approx 2mb of memory. It's not truly designed to upload
your MP3's and play them. On a new plan, the 7500 looks like the
best choice - but keep in mind, your music / mp3's typically average
about 1mb per minute of song... I couldn't find any info on how much
memory the 7500 has (honestly, I didn't look too hard) but I *think*
it has 50mb? Don't quote me on that one though!

What I ended up doing was buying a phone that had an SD memory
expansion - a Sanyo MM-9000, and a Sanyo MM-5600 (and a Treo 650). Both
of these phones are NOT available through Sprint anymore, but they are
available through other resources on the internet.

I tried the Samsung a920 but wasn't pleased with the reception (and lack of
external antenna port).
