Sanyo 8100 Ringer Formats?

Does anyone know what format ringers have to be in for the Sanyo 8100? I just tried to send an m4a ringer to my fiance's phone but I got an insufficient memory error. We deleted more than enough stuff to make room for the ringer, but it didn't download. I'm thinking the ringer is the wrong format. So does anyone know what ringer formats I can send to her? Thanks.

ok well i just sent her 3 different qcp ringers and they all sound like crap. she has an Ozzy ringer she bought from Sprint that sounds decent. any ideas what the problem could be?

as it turns out, i made a mistake on the phone model number. it's an 8200, not an 8100. does the 8200 only support qcp ringers?

no i don't think it does either.

8200 only supports qcp ringers. and yes it really sucks, qcp sounds horrible. to make the ringers decent, put an equalizer using a sound editing program and cut the lows and drop the highs, boost the mids a little bit. if it sounds too low, then boost the overall volume, but not too much cuz ull blow the speaker.
