Can I get some input on what just happened?

I had a Samsung A-8880 which was stolen, paid the $50 and lockline sent me a Sanyo 5500.

Which is better? Did they just downgrade me bigtime? What are the retail prices on these two phones?

After comparing the stats (click link below) it seems it is a downgrade. Retail price means nothing. Features and benefits are the key.

On a side note the 5500 has great reception, has Ready link if you needed it and all in all is a great phone. I have over 50,000 minutes on mine. It's not active anymore but I can't get rid of it because I love it.

you went from a MM Class phone to a non-MM phone (albeit maybe the best non-MM phone ever offered). I would call back and complain, there's a lot of features missing with that replacement.
