welcome to sprint users. any of the current new phones would be a nice upgrade for you. i never heard of any code that will get you better service, but yes, nextel doesnt get that good of service compared to sprint. its really up to you if you want to move to nextel.

you can, just dont go crazy with calling people and using the internet. it can mess up your phone and possibly your number

they just said 72 hours to cover their ass..they don't want u making calls beacuse, as someone said earlier, it could screw with the number porting..and beacause they might not be able to track ur calls..

well not that it helps you get better service but it like keeps your signal stronger, it like keeps looking for a tower, does it really work?

There is no code that can do this for you.

That sounds like a load of crap. Over the years I've heard about codes for each of the wireless providers. My aunt used it on her Verizon phone and swears that she hasn't dropped a call since.....
Placebo effect?

You can't really take somebody's word all the time. What they say may be a 360º difference from what you would or could experience.
My uncle tells me that Sprint gets no service and their customer service is terrible. Well... I think their reception is great and I've never had a real problem with the CSRs. I actually like Sprint and their phones, and can't see going anywhere else.
Try out Nextel. Look at their coverage maps. Make a decision YOURSELF. :)
