The debate on the AT&T – TMobile merger has been prolonged with Sprint sticking to its stance on the issue of More Carriers = More Competition platform. This has proven to be a good tactic as Sprint stock has actually increased in the past days while AT&T stock has dropped. Read the full story after the break.
Sprint’s launch of the new Galaxy S II aka Samsung Epic 4G Touch is getting closer and now, thanks to Pocketnow, we will show you the first official pictures of the Epic 4G Touch.
Samsung had scheduled an event for tomorrow August 29th (now postponed because the hurricane alert) to talk about this device. But, everything is on time for the launch of the Epic 4G Touch for September 9th.

Thanks again to our friends from Pocketnow, we can enjoy viewing the 3 different models for each major carrier that will carry the new Samsung Galaxy S II. T-Mobile, Sprint and AT&T are the lucky ones (Verizon Wireless decided not to carry it). The T-Mobile version is like a giant Nexus S. The Sprint one is less rounded than the T-Mo’s variant. AT&T decided to keep the original design of the Galaxy S II.

Back in July, Google rolled out a massive Android Market update that overhauled the look and brought a number of new features including new ways to discover applications and the ability to rent movies and purchase books right from your phone.
Google has just started rolling out an update to the Android Market 3.1.3. Aside from a few slight aesthetic changes, the two main features include the ability to +1 apps and password protect (PIN lock) your Android purchases.
According to leaked info, Sprint will add the iPhone 5 to its arsenal! Man, what a game change.! At this point, the news has not been confirmed by Sprint – but stay tuned for updates!
Sprint has just announced the availability of the new Blackberry Curve 9350 for this September 9th and for only US$ 79.99. Sprint business customers may qualify for pricing as low as $49.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate. Now you have another option after the Bold 9930 and the Torch 9850.

This is an aggressive marketing for Sprint, trying to beat T-Mobile’s price for the Bold and try to match Walmart’s.
